Measure Theory and Functional Analysis
Problem sets available
Greetings fellow Quantum Formalists!
Our course is soon to begin, and already available on the course github repository are the first two problem sets for your perusal (link provided below).
A few notes about the assignments:
Assignment 1 is a review of integration theory. It might be a good idea to assess where you stand by seeing if you can take on the problems before the first lecture is posted!
If the first set is too easy for you, I encourage you to glance at the second set, likely most people will not be able to take on those problems - just to drive home the point that you will see new mathematical content if assignment one left you unimpressed!
You will be provided typed up and fully detailed solutions to the assignments, so I encourage you to try your best on each problem and not give into despair if you encounter an insurmountable problem!
Typically what will happen henceforth is that assignment n will be posted the same day as lecture n, with the solutions to assignment n being posted when lecture n+1 is posted
Have fun! I mean that sincerely, learning is more effective if you find a way to enjoy the journey!
