Lecture 09 Invitation: Application of Cyclic Groups and DLP in Cryptography
Group theory crash course.
Hello Quantum Formalists,
The registration for the next live lecture is now open via https://crowdcast.io/c/group-theory-lecture-09. We'll finally be covering the application of cyclic groups and the discrete logarithm problem (DLP) to cryptography, i.e. to the Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol.
Group Theory Crash Course: If you missed any live sessions, there is a YouTube playlist where the recordings are available https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6N_Y7ao_aHuOMgD3T_dzSgM5E2-VhhbT.
Discord Community: If you haven't done it already, we encourage you to join our Discord Server https://discord.gg/SPcmcsXMD2. Community members use it to organise group study sessions.
QF Mathematics Mentorship: We've recently announced our new community initiative, a six-month mathematics mentorship program aimed at mentoring researchers & aspiring open-source quantum computing contributors. We'll assign relevant PhD-level mathematicians to mentor you on the advanced branches of mathematics that you need for your research or open-source project!
Ideally, we prefer projects that could benefit from exploiting abstract branches of mathematics that are not easily accessible to non-mathematicians!
Does it sound like something you would like to join? If yes, please apply via https://forms.gle/bGSzQ3iEY2MediP59. The first cohort will start on Monday, September 19 2022.
Finally, we encourage you to follow our company's LinkedIn and Twitter accounts to get updates about our other initiatives.
See you there!
